In my current exhibition Collosus at Galatea Fine Arts, my starting point are cut flowers. I seem to be attracted to shifting relationships, complexities of the everyday. I choose materials that are quick, dirty and impossible to erase".
My exhibition, Cannot Be Described in Words at the Concord Art Association takes the form of a question at once familiar and uncomfortable. For me, making a drawing, the step- by- step process, is all about decisions: when to push forward, when to stop. It’s a game of risk, the stakes are high. I feel as though I’m on a tightrope as I have a glimmer of the ineffable which cannot be described in words.
